What you need to know for Troop 18 Holiday Wreath Sales

Troop 18 Scouts and Families, we are in the midst of our 2013 Wreath Sales Fundraiser and order forms are due Tuesday, November 12 during the troop meeting.  The form and flyer are attached.

As you know, this fundraiser is very important for the troop and the individual scouts to earn money credits toward their future scouting activities.  To earn scout credits, every scout will be required to sell 5 items during the pre-sale period.  For every item sold after the first 5, Scouts will earn a $5 credit per item that can be applied to scout activities – including the ski trip, summer camp and other scout trips.  So, the more you sell, the more money you can apply to your future trip expenses.  Additionally, Scouts who sell 5 wreaths or more receive a $25 troop dues credit.  For scouts who opt out or do not sell at least 5 items will pay the full dues.

Important Dates:
Tues, Nov 12 – Wreath order forms are due at the Scout Meeting
Tues, Nov 19 – Wreath decoration assembly at Scout Meeting (Parents are requested to attend the meeting and help assemble the decorations)
Sun, Nov 24 – 10am to Noon – Wreath and swag decorating at Elliott’s House (12 Pond St, Hopkinton 508-435-3616) 10am to Noon – all Scouts and Families
Sun, Nov 24 – Noon to 2pm – Wreath pick-up at Elliott’s House
Sat, Nov 30 – Craft Fair – Additional Wreath are available for additional sales
