Sign Up for the Craft Fair

Hello Scouts and Parents:
As you know, the Annual Christmas Gallery of Arts and Crafts on November 30th is quickly approaching. This is the ninth year that Troop 18 has sponsored this event and each year the Craft Fair has proven to be a very successful fundraiser for the Troop. This is an enormous endeavor and the assistance of all scouts and parents is necessary for the success of this event.
The Craft Fair takes place at Milford High School cafeteria from 9:30 AM – 3 PM on November 30th. We have access to the cafeteria on Friday, November 29th from 9 AM – 12 PM and will need scout assistance during these hours for preliminary set up.

On Saturday, November 30th, the crafters begin arriving at the High School at 7 AM. We ask that all scouts be available during the hours of 7-9:30 AM to help the crafters unload and set up. Help is needed throughout the day from scouts and parents in other areas as well.

We ask that each family respond with the name of each family member and the time period(s) listed below that they are available to participate. Furthermore, each participant who does not already have one will be provided with a red Troop 18 T-shirt to be worn on the day of the Craft Fair, so please also provide your T-Shirt size if you do not have a red T-shirt. T-shirts are available in all Adult sizes from S-XXL.

Please select one or more of the following:

  • Friday, November 29th 9 AM – 12 PM
  • Saturday, November 30th 7 AM – 10 AM
  • 10 AM – 1 PM
  • 1 PM – 4 PM

You may respond by email and/or a sign-up sheet will be available at Tuesday’s scout meetings.

We are also asking that each family make and deliver to the Craft Fair (Teacher’s Cafeteria) the following:

  • 5 dozen cookies (3 per bag, bags in a basket, labeled with what they are, name on bottom of basket for return at end of day) or
  • 4 dozen bars (2 per bag, bags in basket, labeled with what they are, name on bottom of basket for return at end of day) or
  • 2 loaf-style cakes (cranberry bread, banana bread, etc., on a plate, uncut) or
  • 1 to 2 dozen cupcakes (on a plate)

Please let me know what you plan to make so that we will have a variety.
Please call if you have any questions.

Thank you,
